These caps are produced in vast numbers and in varying sizes and colours.

A number of checks are performed including:
|
- Checking for the presence of a pouring nozzle
- Checking that the nozzle has not been inserted on its side.
- Checking that the nozzle doese not have a badly damaged edge.
- Checking food caps for the presence of a pull tab, as well as confirming the cover of the foil on the base of the cap.
